Responsible for the development and the overall implementation of a horizon and fault explanation subsystem for 3-D Seismic Data Interactive Explanation System . This is a joint software technology corporation project with U.S firm (HALLIBURTON oil company). This subsystem is developed used as the kernel of the overall system. It played a vital role in implementing a real seismic data explanation task .

As a software team-lead, actively involved and worked closely with clients to meet their requirements, design, analysis and programming tasks. Worked with team member implement coding , debugging , testing and software integration. Successfully developed and implemented the Well Log Interactive Processing System(WLIPS). These specifically include the design of system control, multi -windows management, and Interactive Graphics Tool for WLIPS.

Other important projects completed include (1) The design and programming of database using R-Tree data structure methodology and the design of a GUI for 3-D Seismic Data Interactive Explanation System. (2) Designed database, GUI, seismic section display software for Integrated Geologic Explanation System(IGES).

7/87 - 5/91: Software engineer, Software Research Department of China Natural Gas & Petroleum Company, Hebei, China

Lead a group of 5 members to design and conduct programming for Petroleum Exploration Data Loading Software application and was responsible for the Management Information System of China Natural Gas & Petroleum Company .

All of these software systems developed with UNIX, C/C++, X-Window, and MOTIF.
